Celebrate the Small Things

It's time for VicLit's Celebrate the Small Things!

This week I am celebrating:
  • a misty, rainy sort of day.
  • deer running along my back fence
  • freshly baked lemon muffins
  • a clear idea of what needs fixed in the chapter I'm working on
  • a mostly potty trained toddler
  • my mom is coming to visit next month.  I haven't seen her in over a year.
What are you celebrating?

  1. Yay for a mostly potty trained toddler, freshly baked muffin and big wooohooo for getting that solution for the chapter you are working on!

Getting to see your mom after such a long time is awesome :D

  2. Have a great time with your mom. Hopefully, she gets to stay awhile.
YAY to on-the-way toilet kids, and the deer sound wonderful. :)

  3. Celebrating with you! Having a toddler close to potty trained is great! (Mine were all well over 3 before i could get them to look at the potty!)

Today is work at the cat shelter day, so i get to celebrate playing with all the kitties!

    1. I wish that my husband wasn't allergic to cats. I miss having one about.
My other two kids were around three when they started potty training. I think my youngest wanted to be big too, which is great for me. I don't mind leaving diapers behind!

  7. Wonderful celebrations. My sis-in-law is going through the potty training right now, so I definitely can appreciate that a mostly potty-trained toddler is a thing to celebrate for sure! And I'm always a fan of misty, rainy days, =)

  8. The only thing we have in common are the deer. Oh wait, and Books! Mostly, I am glad I never had to go through that "certain training" - but sometimes, I wonder what I missed. Enjoy both your baby and your mother's visit.
