Celebrate the Small Things

It's time for VicLit's Celebrate the Small Things!

This week I want to celebrate a few seemingly small things that have made me very happy.

I found my kids a dentist that's as wonderful as the one we left behind when we moved last year!  It happens to be near our favorite pirate ship park and the book store/coffee shop/yarn shop which happens to be one of my favorite places to visit down here.  My kid's are begging to go back to the dentist because they had such a wonderful day.

My word count for JuNoWriMo is 32,373!  I'm a bit behind but not to far and I'm pretty content with the huge amount of progress I 've made.

My husband is bringing me tacos for lunch. I LOVE tacos.

I hope that you all have a great weekend!

  2. Very good word count. I totaled up pretty much all the fiction I've written in the last two years (disregarding some stuff for school) and had about 26,000 words, so you've done more in a month than I have in nearly twenty-four. Pardon me mentioning, but the words "kids" and "tacos" in your post didn't need apostrophes.

    1. Thanks! Oh and I don't mind corrections. It's good to be aware of what areas need work.

  3. Finding a dentist the kids want to see is a big deal, it makes the trips for cleanings so much better.

    Congrats on the work-in-progress!

    1. It really is. I was so worried I wouldn't find one as great as the one we had before we moved.

  4. Glad you're moving ahead with your word count. All trips to the dentist should be fun, I had to visit my dentist this week for a filling as I'd cracked a tooth - not so much fun!

    1. No, that doesn't sound fun. I have to go soon... I'm hoping my teeth aren't in to bad of shape.
