June Goals

My goal for June is simple.  I want to write 50,000 words on my WIP.  With all the motivation I am getting from JuNoWriMo I am hopeful that I will be able to reach my goal and have a great time while doing it!
I had to scale back on my goals for May but I am happy with the progress that I did make.  I managed to keep up on my reading and make some great progress on my revisions and while I didn't get anything submitted to magazines I do have a few things ready.
Oh, one last goal for June!  I want to finish replying to all of the amazing comments I received during the blitz!!!
Is any one else doing JuNoWriMo?
What are your goals for June?  I'd love to cheer you on!

  1. Just stopping by s part of the Blog Blitz, although I'm two days late. But hey, better late than never.

I have to say, I'm very impressed with your commitment to writing and your goal for JuNoWriMo. How do you do it with all the other things you have going on?

    1. Yes, late is definitely better than never :) Thanks for stopping by!
I don't really know how I do it... I do tend to stay up to late so I can write but I'm trying to be better about that. I usually think everything out while I'm doing things with the kids then I write like crazy once they are in bed.

    1. Thank you! I'm hoping I can keep up. I have a bit more time in the summer than I do doing the school year so it seemed like a good time to go for it. Happy writing :)

    1. I'm calling it "Simmer", for now anyway. I have a small blurb on my WIP page. It is a YA novel about a girl who is coping with the death of her best friend when her father mysteriously vanishes. She is forced to take over his job as leader of their "fleet" while trying to figure out what happened to her father. The only person who seems to be able to help her is her best friend's brother. The one that she blames for her death. It takes place in a fantasy world and runs parallel to the first novel I wrote.

  8. That's a fantastic goal!! I am hoping to do a lot of writing in June myself, although I'm not doing the "JuneNANOWRIMO." That's something that's always kind of intimidated me, but maybe someday! Sorry I missed out on the blitzing action--it's been a crazy last few days! :)
