This is my first Friday participating in  VicLit's "Celebrate the Small Things".  It is a weekly blog hop where we share something we achieved during the week.  The purpose is so that we can all celebrate each other's accomplishments, both big and small, and encourage our fellow bloggers.

I am very tired today and I'm not feeling accomplished in anything really, so I'm going to celebrate the only thing that comes to mind. I kept my almost two year old safe and prevented him from throwing away the dishes ( I think anyway...), snacking on the puppy's food and many, many similar things.  It was no small feat.  My little guy is busy!  He is such a hugable little buddy, if you can catch him...

On the writing front, I am pleased that I made progress on my first round of revisions.  The previous post is about that so I won't go into details, but I'm happy to be moving in the right direction.
I can't wait to see what all of you have accomplished this week!

  1. Two-year-olds are crazy busy, so just making sure he is safe, dressed, and, at the end of the day, has been fed a few times, is a big thing!

  3. Hello, Sarah -- and welcome to the Celebration Blog-Hop...Hopping is good; especially when you have a two-year old plus a huge Great Dane (if you ever want you and your dog featured on my Pasha blog, just give me a bark at inge.h.borg.author@gmail(dot)com). And thanks for stopping by my blog. Pasha is such a hog for company.
    Best wishes,
    Inge

  4. Welcome aboard! Sometimes the only thing to celebrate is that nothing has gone wrong - but keeping a toddler out of mischiefe is no small feat. My 'boys' are 19 and 24 and I still fret about them constantly.

  5. Yay! Two year old are a challenge. Whew! My youngest is 6 and he's still a hand full. If you can get anything done around school and mommying, you're a rock star--which, of course, you are. (This from another home schooling/writing mommy.)

  8. Glad you've joined this blog hop. It does help to put your life into perspective - and with such a rambunctious sort running around, I'm sure you could use that sometimes. :)

    Congrats on revisions! Writer’s Mark

At least if he does get to the dog food, it shouldn't kill him.
