G is for Grown up

I grew up.
I'm not sure when.
I don't feel old but when I turn
I see three miniatures looking at me
Each one wanting breakfast.
(From the rambling, before coffee brain of me...)

  1. Very good, especially for before coffee. Yes, when did i grow up and end up with children?

  2. "I don't feel old..." Yep, I know how you feel. I have adult children now, but while I feel... mature?... I don't feel old. :) Funny--we both seem to be on the same kind of vibe for today's letter, Sarah!

  3. Haha. I think we all have had days when we've said, "When did I become an adult?"

  4. Yup, with three kids you better be a grown up.

  5. Oh I can relate to this. I've aged ten years since my kids were born. (My oldest daughter is 4 and my youngest has yet to turn 2.) :/

  6. Lovely. And, as messymimi pointed out, especially good ramblings before morning coffee!

  7. There are some days I STILL don't feel "grown up" enough to have kids...and they're both in college. In fact, one of them will graduate from college next month. Sheesh! 1. Wow! I guess feeling young is way better than feeling old.
